Terms of Service

1. Who can use LOVO

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. LOVO is built around discovering and booking hotel stays, which requires the capacity to enter contracts. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.

Access to LOVO is currently by waitlist and invitation, and individual features may be enabled per account. We may change which features are available to whom as the product develops.

2. Your account

• Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account; do not impersonate anyone or create accounts to evade an enforcement action.
• You can delete your account at any time - see Ending your account.

3. Your content

LOVO lets you publish videos and comments, and send direct messages ("your content"). Your content is yours. So that we can run the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example transcoding and thumbnails), publish, and display your content within the Service, for as long as it remains on the Service. The license ends when your content or your account is deleted, except for the limited retention described in our Privacy Policy.

• Videos, comments, and your profile are public to other users. Direct messages are visible to their participants.
• You are responsible for your content. Only post what you have the right to post - including the rights to any music, footage, people, and places it contains.
• We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not use it for advertising to third parties.

4. Prohibited content and behavior

The following are objectionable on LOVO and are prohibited. This applies to everything on the Service - videos, comments, direct messages, profiles, handles, and profile photos.

• Illegal content or activity. Anything that violates applicable law, or that facilitates, promotes, or instructs illegal acts - including the sale of illegal goods or services.
• Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Zero tolerance. Any content that sexualizes, sexually exploits, or endangers minors - including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and trafficking of minors. We remove it, terminate the accounts involved, and report it to the relevant authorities. See our Child Safety Standards.
• Harassment and bullying. Threats, intimidation, targeted insults, unwanted sexual advances, or encouraging others to pile on. Do not use LOVO to harass anyone, in public or in direct messages.
• Hate. Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred or violence against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, caste, serious disease, or immigration status.
• Sexual content. Pornography, sexually explicit content, and nudity are not permitted on LOVO, in any surface including direct messages.
• Violence. Credible threats of violence, incitement, glorification of violent acts or their perpetrators, and gratuitously graphic violence.
• Self-harm. Content that promotes, encourages, or instructs suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders.
• Spam and deception. Scams, fraud, phishing, fake engagement, misleading commercial content, deceptive impersonation of people or organizations, and repetitive unsolicited messages.
• Intellectual-property infringement. Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights. Rights holders can report infringement to hello@trylovo.com.
• Privacy violations. Sharing someone's private information (doxxing) or intimate imagery without their consent, or recording people where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
• Platform abuse. Malware, scraping, automated account creation, probing or circumventing access controls and rate limits, or interfering with the operation of the Service.

5. Moderation and enforcement

LOVO provides in-app tools to report content and users and to block users. We review reports and act on violations in a timely manner. When something violates these terms, we may - with or without prior notice:

• hide or remove content,
• restrict features of an account,
• issue a warning,
• temporarily suspend an account, or
• permanently ban an account.

The response depends on the severity and history of the violation; serious violations - CSAE above all - lead to immediate removal and account termination. We may preserve evidence of violations for the windows stated in our Privacy Policy, and we report content and accounts to law enforcement where the law requires it or where there is a risk of serious harm. We may also remove or restrict content or accounts where the law obliges us to.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account and associated data at any time, in the app or at trylovo.com/delete-account. Deletion runs after a 7-day grace window; what is deleted and what remains is described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, as described above.

7. The Service

LOVO is under active development: features may change, be added, or be withdrawn. Hotel and stay information shown in the app is provided for discovery; it may be incomplete or out of date, and it is not a guarantee of price or availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, LOVO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. The current version always lives at this URL with its date at the top; for material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Using the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in.
